If you act in a certain way that normally produces particular feelings, you will begin to experience those feelings. Act like you’re bored, and you’ll become bored. Act like you’re disinterested, and you’ll become disinterested. So the next time you have trouble concentrating in the classroom, “act” like an interested person: lean forward, place your feet flat on the floor, maintain eye contact with the professor, nod occasionally, take notes, and ask questions. Not only will you benefit directly from your actions, your classmates and professor may also get more excited and enthusiastic.

I think it is a wonderful thing if you graduate with your class.
because you get to move on with your life with your friends .
But for most kids now it brings pain because they didn't do lot in there school time most failed for temptation of drugs and lot were just to lazy to come to school and they have to  watch there friends move on with there lifes.

Successful students

Don’t sit in the back of the room successful students minimize classroom distraction that interfere with learning students want the best seat available for their educational dollars but willingly seek the worst seat for their educational dollars. Students who sit in the back cannot possibly be their professor teammate why do they expose themselves to the temptation of inactive classroom experiences and distraction of all the people between them and their instructor of course we know they chose the back of the classroom because they seek incivility or anonymity both of which are antithetical to efficient

Why put something into your notes you don’t understand ask the question now that are necessary to make your notes meaningful at some later time a short review of your notes while the material is still fresh on your mind helps you to learn more the more you learn then the less you have to learn more than the less you’ll have to learn later and the less time it will take because you won’t purpose of talking notes is to use them and use them often the more you use them the more you improve

Study for multiple exams

English math foreign language tip: practice especially foreign language it is hard to succeed in a foreign language class if you are just showing and doing the work but if you are in your room and look at objects and try to say them in the language you are learning it actually help or if you send a simple text to a friend think about it can you translate that to German or Spanish? These are the little things that will help

Here are my final words of wisdom for students who want to get better grades in college time management and organization are critical key factors to success in college and never be afraid to go ask your teacher for help they have office hours for some reason use them

My strategies for written assignment everyone has their own writing styles I generally come up with an idea and do massive amounts of research before I ever think about writing I then organize my research then sometimes prepare an outline before actually writing I always  print out the paper and come back to it the next day and reread it that is the easy way for me to catch my own mistakes I have yo give my eyes a break from it and if I just wrote it I think it looks perfect but if I look at it a day later I almost always find grammatical errors or phases and sentences I just want to reword

How I succeed in team projects never assume someone is doing what they are supposed to be doing have regular meeting and have each member show their work not just give you or the group their word for it

My test study method: I have different strategies for different types of test if subjects for me any type of math is exceptionally difficult so I had to spend extra time on that I would go back through the homework problems focusing on the problem that I had extra difficulty on. Many times I would ask the teacher for any additional study materials they could prove if it was a class that required apply them to an example or create different question on the focused on throughout the semester my time manage secret I always always always carry a planner with me. I even use different color highlighter to show that each event on my calendar is for. For example pink is personal yellow is school orange Is work blue is for appointments and green is for my sorority although I use white out

I can and will work as part of the team as long as everyone in the team is willing to do this work I don’t like having pick up the stack but I will if I know that my grade will be harmed otherwise .my greatest academic success was in my first semester when I had to ever been assigned and I was like here you go just write about something I had to argue in favor of or against something but f could be anything from the sky is blue to hypnotism I wrote mine on hypnotism I worked on this paper  for weeks and weeks every night I would be doing research or writing I put so much effort into this paper it ended up benign just under 12 pages but it full on infortormation I turned it in and when I got it back a week or so later I had received the first  A+ of my college career all my hard work paid off because I got the I deserved I was really happy and proud of myself

My strategies for written assignment I try to outline before I write because otherwise I forgot what I am supposed to be talking about I try not leaving them until the last minute because then I will just goof up the work. A lot of time I just write what I feel teachers like your opinion and if you can find something from the reading or research that relates specifically to your life they like it even more because It allows you to take ownership of your work I write things that I want others to read not thing that I have to write because the teacher said so

How I succeed in team projects personal I do not like working on group projects especially ones that I worked on In high school however when it is required to work in a group usually I try to lead I like talking the lead I like taking the lead because then I know that things are going to get done on time and that I am going to get a good grade if I am working in a group of people who all want to work then it is a different story.

My overall study method: I break up studying over several days and over the source of the evening and day, cramming never works for me so I try not to do it. I will have longer sessions on nights before big test, but I never stay up much later than normal before test. I know that if I take test tired the next day I will not do as well as if I was rested

How I’ve overcome an initial bad grade: I usually took over the test or paper to see what I did that the teacher did not want because for me they are not worth getting really upset about. I do well because I know that I know the material however if I do get a bad grade or one lower than I expected I make sure that the next time a test is coming I study more so that I won’t be surprised by the question.

Effective Study Methods

How I deal with multiple project / tests: when I have more than one test or project, I break up my studying. I will study for one test for 30 minutes or so and then switch to the other one if there is some part of a project that I know will not take me very long, I will do it when I don’t have much time if I am really in a crunch for time on a specific day, I will study for one test in the morning and the other in the afternoon or at night.

By breaking up the studying into different sections I feel like I get much more done. Cram sessions do not work for me. I need to study something for a shorter period of time more often for it to sink in.

y time manage secret: my secrets is to use time wisely. I know that if certain days I do not have time to run errands or hang out with friends even. Each minute of each day is used for something. In thing that works really well for me is to write everything down. I mean everything I write down if t am going to email people, write letters or study it works its works for me to have a planner that goes by the day shows me what I am going to be doing every day helps me plan out my week and days.

If I know that I don’t have time on Tuesday I will try to get more time on Monday or Sunday. I plan ahead especially if am bringing my books and read on the bus/plane/hotel room. Missing classes is killer to make up from but if you are upfront with professors they are usually nice about having to turn things in late or not being in classes.
